PUBLIC NOTICE ON IMPLEMENTATION OF FEES AND CHARGES

BY PUBLIC TERTIARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

It is announced for the information of the general public, prospective and continuing students and other key stakeholders of all public institutions designated as institutions of Tertiary Education in Ghana, that the proposed fees and charges for the 2017/2018 Academic Year have been collated for consideration and approval by Parliament. This is in accordance with the requirements of the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 (Act 793) and Amendment Instrument 2016 (L.I.2228).

Pending a decision by Parliament on the proposals, institutions are hereby entreated to ensure that fees and charges are maintained at the 2016/2017 levels. All concerned are to note that, depending on the outcome of consideration of the proposals by Parliament, some adjustments may need to be made to the 2016/2017 levels to reflect the approved levels for implementation.

The Management of these institutions are to take note and comply accordingly.
